IS YQ SECURE?

YQ has integrated with Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) as our payment gateway provider. The capture of any merchant or customer credit card details is completed through a PCI Compliant secure DPS hosted site for storage and tokenisation.

WHAT IF I LOSE MY PHONE? AM I PROTECTED?

Your YQ account is protected by a 4 digit pin, which you create when you sign up. This pin is to stop anyone purchasing without you knowing. You can access your account simply by reentering your log in details on the app or through the order.yq.co.nz website.

WHY DO I GET CHARGED A $1 CARD ACTIVATION FEE?

This is to authenticate your credit card you are using and ensure future purchases are successful. The $1 is refunded to your account within a few business days.

WHAT ARE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS? SHOULD I ALLOW THEM?

Once you place an order at any YQ vendor, the vendor will communicate back to your phone when the order will be ready. This occurs using Push Notifications. To ensure you know when the order is ready for collection push notifications should be enabled.

To enable push notifications on:

Apple or IOS devices, go to:

Settings > Notifications > YQ > Turn on Notification centre / Alert Style = Alerts / Turn On badge app icon, sounds and view in lock screen

Android devices, go to:

Toolbar > Settings > More > Application Manager > YQ > Turn on show notifications

WHAT IS LOYALTY AND HOW DO I VIEW AND USE MY LOYALTY POINTS?

Some vendors like to say thanks for your custom and YQ allows merchants to do this electronically. The loyalty points you have earned can be seen on the YQ home page and within each vendor’s business home page. You can use any loyalty points you have accrued from that vendor when reviewing your order at checkout.

WHEN I CHECK IN, NO BUSINESSES APPEAR, WHAT DO I DO?

Your location services will not be enabled. To enable location services on:

Apple or IOS devices, go to:

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Turn on Location Services & YQ

Android devices, go to:

Toolbar > Turn on GPS (Icon goes green)

ARE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS STORED ON THE PHONE

As stated above, YQ entrusts DPS to handle all credit card transactions. Tokenisation occurs where a token is sent to the device that only DPS recognizes that enables seamless payment of goods and services from YQ during future purchases. YQ does not hold any credit card information as a result.

Add Our email Address to Your Email Safe Senders List, Address Book or Contact List.

Email newsletters can be blocked or filtered into the bulk folder especially now that email filters are focusing more strongly on “grey mail” or commercial mail. As a result, of these changes you may be unable to read certain email communications even if you have subscribed to receive them.

To avoid these situations, add our email addresses to your Safe Senders List. We've put together a list of the most commonly used email programs with easy to follow instructions on how to add email addresses to your Safe Senders List.

Please add either the From Address that the email you received came from OR add the info@yq.co.nz to your Address Book or Contacts to continue receiving your subscriptions in your inbox!

What is an Email Safe Senders List?

Each email program features spam filters which automatically recognize whitelisted and blacklisted email addresses. White-listed addresses are deemed acceptable and mail from these addresses is usually delivered to the inbox without additional filtering.  Blacklisted addresses are senders from which you do not wish to receive email communication from. The Safe Senders List, also commonly referred to as a White List, is a list of all email addresses you would like to receive an email from without impediment.

Your Safe Senders List is managed by you within your email program and can be easily updated based on your preferences.  By default, email messages that you add to your own personal address book are considered safe and will not be re-routed to your junk email folder.
