Heaven Woodfire Pizza

Heaven Woodfire Pizza

The locals have loved Heaven Woodfire Pizza for three years out in Waikanae. This year, we thought we'd bring our restaurant to upper Cuba Street. We believe in using fresh ingredients to create the tastiest dishes. Our menu has something for everyone, at prices that are sure to please. So visit us at 247 Cuba Street and check out the delicious food and amazing atmosphere.

Vanilla Essence

Vanilla Essence

"They serve brilliant coffee, exceptional long blacks. Service always begins with a big smile and ‘hello, how are you?’. If you go there often enough they remember your name and order (yes, I am a bit of a coffee addict in the mornings). The team are excellent, going there feels like returning to old friends. The food is pretty good, but its the coffee that keeps me coming back! Highly recommended. 5 stars"

Cafe Breton

Cafe Breton

Bonjour et bienvenue au Cafe Breton, Wellington's latest French cafe and authentic creperie. Come in for a taste of Brittany, delicious savoury buckwheat crepes and of course amazing sweet crepes, both served with a variety of fillings. You will also be tempted by French classics such as the Croque Monsieur (French toasted sandwich) French Onion Soup, Omelettes and Quiches. Try the Breton Platter with homemade smoked salmon and Moules Marinieres (fresh mussels cooked in white wine). Delicieux! You will need to leave room for dessert too...take a peak in the cabinet and admire the pastries and tarts...from Macarons and Éclair au Cafe to rich Chocolate Mousse and Mille Feuille... Bon Appetit!

Thunderbird Café

Thunderbird Café

Thunderbird Cafe is a fun, kitschy little cafe in the heart of the CBD on Featherston Street between Brandon and Panama Streets. Often imitated but never duplicated, we serve up a fabulous mix of Tex-Mex and Southern American cuisine with a Kiwi twist. We make everything in house from scratch daily, including smoking all our meats. All of the flavour with non of the pretension.
