Cafe Breton

Bonjour et bienvenue au Cafe Breton, Wellington's latest French cafe and authentic creperie. Come in for a taste of Brittany, delicious savoury buckwheat crepes and of course amazing sweet crepes, both served with a variety of fillings. You will also be tempted by French classics such as the Croque Monsieur (French toasted sandwich) French Onion Soup, Omelettes and Quiches. Try the Breton Platter with homemade smoked salmon and Moules Marinieres (fresh mussels cooked in white wine). Delicieux! You will need to leave room for dessert too...take a peak in the cabinet and admire the pastries and tarts...from Macarons and Éclair au Cafe to rich Chocolate Mousse and Mille Feuille... Thunderbird Cafe is a fun, kitschy little cafe in the heart of the CBD on Featherston Street between Brandon and Panama Streets. Often imitated but never duplicated, we serve up a fabulous mix of Tex-Mex and Southern American cuisine with a Kiwi twist. We make everything in house from scratch daily, including smoking all our meats. All of the flavour with non of the pretension.
